Victor Lindelof refuses to talk about potential Manchester United transfer

Victor Lindelof has refused to answer questions over a potential Manchester United transfer this summer.

The Swede has been massively linked with a move to Old Trafford as reports claim he will complete a medical on Wednesday once he returns from his commitments on international duty.

A deal is expected to cost around £35m and will be announced next week, according to multiple sources, however, when asked about the situation, Lindelof refused to give anything away.

“No comment,” he said.

“I have a contract with Benfica, so I will not comment on this.

He’s clearly not looking to clarify the situation until a move is official as anything could break the potential deal down between now and the time of him signing his contract.

Lindelof will be a solid addition at Old Trafford as the Portuguese boss looks to fill holes in the team and turn them into contenders in the Champions Leauge and Premier League.

He’ll be a vital player and with the likes of Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind already in the team, Mourinho has plenty of options.
