Zlatan Ibrahimovic has previously given his seal of approval for new Manchester United signing Victor Lindelof.
The big Swede is currently a free agent on July 1 but will continue his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury at Carrington.
He’ll be working closely with his friend Lindelof, who signed for Man United and is set to permanently join the club following the completion of his medical and personal terms.
Speaking about a potential move when Lindelof was first linked with United in November, Ibrahimovic believed he’d be capable of great things.
“I think Victor is doing great things, he is playing good for Benfica, he gets a lot of responsibility for the national team now, he is growing,” he said.
“Is he good enough for United? I think he’s good enough for the big clubs out there. It’s up to him what he wants and what the situation says.”
It seems like Jose Mourinho also believed he was ready to make the switch to Old Trafford and after a move fell through due to problems negotiating a deal with his former club in January, the Portuguese boss will feel great after finally landing his man.
