Paul Pogba sends message to Romelu Lukaku after Man United transfer

Paul Pogba has welcomed Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United on social media after he has officially joined for an agreed fee of £75m this summer.

He’s set for a medical and will need to complete personal terms before the move is finalised, but has been training with Pogba all week in Los Angeles.

The Belgian was expected to sign for Chelsea as Antonio Conte had been in talks with Lukaku for several weeks, however, Mino Raiola created a deal earlier this week and even though Chelsea matched United’s offer, he chose to make the Old Trafford move.

Pogba posted a video of the pair in LA with the caption: “See you tomorrow in training @rlukaku9 #bienvenue #AgentP.”

Mourinho wanted a deal completed before the pre-season tour and with the rest of the players flying out to LA tomorrow, he’ll be able to easily meet up with the rest of the squad.

Lukaku has a big gap to fill with Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the club but after scoring 25 goals last season but there’s no doubt he has the quality to perform, especially if the team around him are creating chances for him, as United were last season.
