What Jose Mourinho wants in the summer transfer window – report

Jose Mourinho is looking to sign four new players in the summer transfer window, a full-back, centre-back, central midfield, and winger, according to Daily Mail.

It’s been a quiet summer so far as Victor Lindelof’s transfer from Benfica is the only arrival that is currently set to join the players on the plane for the pre-season tour on Sunday.

However, things are heating up as Man United seem close to officially signing Everton’s Romelu Lukaku for a fee believed to be in the region of £75m.

The Belgian is currently in Los Angeles with midfielder Paul Pogba and will take a medical in America as hopes are he’ll be able to join the rest of the squad once they land on Sunday.

There were twelve players on the list Mourinho presented to Ed Woodward, three in each of the four positions he had chosen, and it seems like there is still plenty of work done to get these deals over the line.

A centre-forward was only made a top priority after the injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and many of the targets for United have are been made known as we’ve seen with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Radja Nainggolan, Nemanja Matic, Antoine Griezmann and Julian Weigl.
