Manchester United expected to sign Serge Aurier this summer – report

Serge Aurier is expected to become Manchester United’s fourth signing of the summer following deals for Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof, according to Independent’s Miguel Delaney.

He claims the only thing holding up a deal is Aurier’s visa as he’s already informed Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to leave this summer ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.

Man United have reportedly agreed a £25million deal with PSG for Aurier, who has won two Ligue 1 titles during his three years in France and would be a great addition at Old Trafford.

Delaney was asked by one of his followers on Twitter: “Any truth in this Aurier to @ManUtd rumour Miguel? Lots of facts about the deal out there…”

To which Delaney replied: “Yeah, it’s true, should happen pending Visa issues, 25m.”

Jose Mourinho has been keen to bolster his options at the back this summer, especially being left without any options last summer when a number of first-team defenders suffered injuries.

The Portuguese boss currently has two defenders out of action, with Mourinho confirming Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo are set to return in September and December respectively.
