Photo: Zlatan Ibrahimovic shows Jose Mourinho he is still working hard

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed a picture of himself going through the hard yards amid speculation surrounding his Manchester United future.

LA Galaxy and AC Milan are both reportedly interested in securing the Swede’s services after he was officially released by the club in June following a knee injury.

However, despite the 35-year-old being on the sidelines until January, Mourinho has hinted towards handing him a short term contract once he returns.

And Zlatan has made it clear to the Portuguese that he remains on top of this game, posting a photo of him on some kind of cycling mechanism, with a huge vessel and a strange, unidentifiable man in the background, and providing the caption: “Lions don’t train like humans”.

If you look really, really, really closely, I think that man is actually Jurgen Klopp. I’m not too sure. Zlatan is responsible for a number of inexplicably weird and brilliant posts and this is right up there.

More importantly, though, Zlatan has absolutely no interest whatsoever in winding down and perhaps enjoying his time as a free agent; he wants to remind the world that, even in the middle of an extensive recovery process, he remains an indefatigable warrior.
