Manchester United reject bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Anthony Martial

Manchester United have rejected a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Anthony Martial, according to Mohamed Bouhafsi.

Bouhafsi initially broke Martial’s move to Old Trafford and is an incredibly reliable source, especially when it’s about the Frenchman.

Martial has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer but the Portuguese boss has not been interested in using the Frenchman as part of a swap deal with Inter Milan for Ivan Perisic.

French outlet RMC Sport claim a bid has been placed and United have rejected it.

Martial has impressed during the pre-season tour for United and has shown Mourinho why he should be starting this season at Old Trafford.

With that in mind, it’s the reason why Mourinho has been reluctant to let him go to Inter, especially if it now includes Martial going to a direct Premier League rival.

Martial is clearly very talented and although he’s suffered with form, he has a bright future ahead, as United fans have all seen from his debut season in England and sparks of his showings, which is why it’s important to keep him on track at United rather than letting him leave.
