Ivan Perisic’s agent Fali Ramadani will be in talks with Inter Milan over the next 24 hours to discuss his client’s future at the club.
Manchester United have not ended their interest in the Croation but there have been no further developments since he flew to China for their pre-season tour just over a month ago.
Jose Mourinho was hoping to sign Perisic on a cheap this summer as Inter had to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, however, after raising the funds through smaller deals, the Serie A club have been desperate to keep their star asset at San Siro.
Calciomercato claims Fali Ramadani’s meeting could decide whether Perisic extends his deal at the club or gets permission to make the switch to Old Trafford this summer.
United’s last bid was around £39million, however, Inter are looking for £50million and are only willing to negotiate if Anthony Martial is part of the swap deal.
The Old Trafford hierarchy have dismissed the possibility of Martial leaving and have shown no willingness to include him in a transfer, even if it is only a loan move.
Jose Mourinho has previously stated he is hoping for four new players this summer but may be forced into accepting three due to the difficulty of the current market.
