Jose Mourinho will not want to change much about his side for the clash with Leicester City after seeing an unchanged XI rip Swansea City apart on Sunday.
Manchester United dominated from start to finish at the Liberty Stadium and eventually ran riot with ten minutes left – scoring three goals in as many minutes – after the hosts finally relented in the face of constant pressure.
And at the heart of that, once again, was Anthony Martial, who came on with 15 minutes left and claimed a beautifully guided goal to finish off the rout.
With that in mind, here is a potential XI for the clash with Craig Shakespeare’s men on Saturday with Martial in the starting XI and Matteo Darmian supporting at left back.
Marcus Rashford produced a dedicated performance in Wales, battling hard on the left hand side as referee John Moss failed to punish defenders for unfairly hassling the youngster, but Mourinho simply cannot ignore the threat posed by Martial any longer.
The Frenchman has rediscovered the goalscoring zeal that eluded him last season, gracefully surging across the turf with a real sense of menace whenever handed the chance, and with Darmian creating space by surging forward on the left hand side he could cause real havoc against Danny Simpson on Saturday.
