Manchester United want to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler – report

Manchester United are set to join the race with Arsenal and Liverpool for the services of Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler, according to reports.

He only signed for the Ligue 1 side in January, but has surprisingly been made available towards the end of the summer transfer window.

There is allegedly a £32m price tag on his head and he has been attracting interest from Europe’s elite as he searches for more game time.

They recently completed the £198million world record capture of Neymar and reports claim they could be preparing to add Monaco’s £160 million wonder kid Kylian Mbappe to their squad.

Draxler is seen as a future captain reigning World Cup champions Germany as he led a young inexperienced German side to victory in this summer’s Confederations Cup in Russia.

He is still only 23 and has all the right attributes to succeed which is why Jose Mourinho may be tempted, especially with Luke Shaw in and out of the team with injuries.

There isn’t much time left to get a deal over the line but if Mourinho really wants his fourth signing then he’ll have to work hard and ensure Ed Woodward has everything he needs to get a deal wrapped up.
