Manchester United target Danny Rose is set for decisive talks with Tottenham Hotspur this week following his broken down relationship with manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to ESPN.
His agent, Mark Rankine, is due to meet to Daniel Levy for crunch talks on Wednesday even though he is just expected to reiterate Rose is not for sale.
Even though he has shown a desire to leave the club before the transfer deadline, the club still want to keep him, although Rose and Pochettino have not spoken since his interview a fortnight ago.
He was fined two weeks wages’ for the outburst and although he was once named the gaffer’s son by his teammates due to his closeness with the Argentine boss, their relationship has cooled since then and has only deteriorated since Rose criticised the club.
Jose Mourinho refused to comment on the interview even though he was interested in signing Rose, but following the interview, Spurs are yet to receive any bids this summer.
There are doubts he’ll actually leave, with fewer than 10 days remaining in the transfer window and he’ll be looking to stay at Spurs and rebuild relationships with his team as he won’t be leaving this summer.
