Jose Mourinho has been pleased with the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United, claiming he’ll be patient to have the big Swede back in action.

Ibrahimovic had been ruled out until the new year following his serious knee injury in the Europa League last campaign, however, reports claim he is now expecting to be back in late October.

He scored 28 goals across all competitions last campaign before his season was ended prematurely and has been working incredibly hard at Carrington on his rehabilitation.

Speaking about the deal, Mourinho has unsurprisingly been very happy to announce a transfer.

“We are delighted Zlatan is on the road to recovery and we are equally delighted to have his ambition and experience back with us,” he said.

“After his contribution last season he deserves our trust and we will be patient waiting for him to return. I have no doubt that he will be important in the second part of the season.”

If there’s one footballer that would be able to fight back from a career-ending injury at 35, it’s Zlatan and hopes are he’ll be able to re-find his incredible goal-scoring form.

He’s massively talented and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down yet as he hopes to add the Premier League to his glowing array of titles.
