Anthony Martial has been left out of France’s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The Frenchman has been in spectacular form for Manchester United this season but has been dealt a blow by Didier Deschamps after being left out.
He’s only played around 35 minutes which was the reason he’s been left at home but in that time has managed two goals and two assists, proving to be very clinical with a 100% conversion rate.
Speaking about his decision, Deschamps claims he needs to be playing more to be selected.
DD on no Martial: He had a tough season, he has quality. He's been good in little time he's had so far. I hope he gets more game time.

It’s a shame for Martial as he’ll be gutted to left out but for United, it’ll be great to have him in top condition as he continues to find his feet under Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss knows what he’s doing, as we’ve previously seen with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and he’ll be easing Martial in this year as the 21-year-old is still young and has time ahead to impress.
He’s one hell of a player and I can’t wait to see him cement his place in the side, but it seems the Portuguese boss has found a role for him as a super sub which has been working well so far.
