Thomas Lemar has his heart set on playing at Manchester United – report

Manchester United target Thomas Lemar has his heart set on playing under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, according to reports.

He is allegedly eager to play at a big club like Man United and believes the Portuguese boss has what it takes to guide the side to big things.

Man United have been trying to sign a winger all summer, hoping to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, however, the Italian club have been set on keeping hold of their star asset.

They have set an unjustifiable fee of around £48m for his services with the only way of negotiating is if Anthony Martial is included in a deal going the other way.

United have allegedly turned their attention to Lemar even though Mourinho has recently claimed he doesn’t expect the club to sign another player before the end of the summer transfer window.

He’s a talented left footed attacking-midfielder, with superb dribbling ability and the the skill to pick out a pass, but if United want to sign him, they’ll have to pay around £55m for the player’s services.

There are doubts a deal will be met, especially if United have to fork out more than they did for Perisic, but there’s still some time till the end of the window and anything is possible.
