Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier prefers Manchester United move – report

by Tanveer Arayan

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier would prefer a move to Manchester United over a move to the team currently in pole position to signing him, Tottenham Hotspur.

His future has remained uncertain as PSG claimed they’d sanction a transfer of his sale as he’s been on the radar of Europe’s elite this summer while he decides where he would like to take his career.

The 24-year-old is currently banned from entering the United Kingdom for an assault on a night-club doorman in Paris last September and the issue will need to be sorted before a deal is reached.

Spurs have allegedly agreed a fee with PSG of around £23m as they also look to take his team-mate Adrien Rabiot in a deal.

However, SFR Sport claim Aurier is having second thoughts after previously being targeted by Jose Mourinho and would prefer a move to Old Trafford if he can get clearance.

United had allegedly agreed a deal for Aurier at the start of the transfer window, but that was before his court hearing where he hoped for good news.

PSG will be looking to offload players after already signing Neymar and are still close to completing a deal for Kylian Mbappe, and with Paul Pogba said to be pushing for a Aurier deal, we could see him at the Theatre of Dreams.
