Manchester United have secured the services of Piotr Sadowski as our new Central Eastern European scout.
Sadowski was previously the managing director of Lech Poznan’s academy and has also worked in the United Kingdom previously as Poland’s official scouting manager and ambassador.
Writing on his official Twitter account, Sadowski confirmed he had joined Man United:

In a statement on their official website, Lech Poznan wrote: “Thanks to Peter for over two years of co-operation. This was a period of important change in the academy which had a good effect and was successful.
“We wish him continued success and we are delighted that the experience he has gathered in Poznan has proved to be of great value to such a recognised brand in the football world as Manchester United.”
Something which Jose Mourinho has revitalised and re-energised since his arrival at Man United is our scouting network which does draw weird comparisons because Sir Alex Ferguson completely revolutionised our scouting network when he became United boss. Now, Mourinho is laying out his own foundations.
Sadowski will scout Eastern and Central Europe in the hope of bringing some talented youngsters into United’s academy set-up. Fingers crossed he will be able to uncover the next Luka Modric or Robert Lewandowski.
United’s academy system has been so influential in our dominance in English football for so long and that hasn’t changed. Now, with Sadowski’s help, Mourinho will want to bring in more youngsters from Central and Eastern Europe. Welcome to the club, Piotr.
