Gary Lineker has hailed Axel Tuanzebe as a “real prospect” following the youngster’s commanding display during Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Swansea City.
The youngster, making his first appearance of the season, produced a commanding, physically imposing display on the right hand side of a back three.
He grew into the game as the minutes ticked by and played an important role in Man United’s second goal, bursting through the lines in midfield before releasing Matteo Darmian out wide.
And Lineker took to social media to express his admiration for what was a wonderfully mature display in South Wales.
Axel Tuanzebe looks a real prospect. Confident, quick, comfortable on the ball and a real intelligence to his game. 👍

The 20-year-old may have endured a shaky start but he had the cigars out by the end, stepping into midfield to take the ball off opponents and moving play forward with purpose and serene confidence.
His style is certainly reflective of somebody who has been around the first team since the days of Louis van Gaal. He looks more than confident at this level; he looks determined.
Once Tuanzebe had eased into the game he had left hand side on lockdown. This is a player who, along with having the right physical frame, possesses the perfect frame of mind to succeed at this level.
