The 22-year-old has once again been a peripheral figure under Jose Mourinho this season, making just two appearances from the bench – both in the Carabao Cup,
Reports have claimed that Shaw fears his Man United career is over after doing everything he can to impress his manager to no avail ever since recovering from another injury in September.
But according to the Mail Online‘s Simon Jones, Shaw will reject interest from Turkey and instead continue to fight for his spot under Mourinho.
The saddest thing about this whole ordeal is that, prior to his broken leg, Shaw was United’s established first choice left back and didn’t look like being usurped any time soon.
He was direct, strong, disciplined, devastatingly quick, always offering an avenue through which to attack opponents.
But that was over two years ago now, and the complexion has changed considerably. Mourinho recently claimed that Shaw does indeed have a future at this club but you can tell that persistent injuries, along with the presence of Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian, has precluded him from being considered as a realistic option by the manager.
