Video: Paul Pogba greeted warmly by France teammates after Les Bleus’ 2-0 win vs Wales

Paul Pogba was greeted warmly by the France squad as he met up with his teammates after their 2-0 win against Wales on Friday evening.

The midfielder is out of action with a long-term injury, having last played for club or country in Man United’s 3-0 win against FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League back in mid-September.

That didn’t stop him going to Friday’s game, and his teammates all gathered around him, including his Man United partner Anthony Martial, and Antoine Griezmann, previously heavily linked to United.

Pogba is clearly a massively popular figure in the France set-up, and is already one of the more experienced players in the side despite still being just 24.

The Frenchman was dubbed “Agent P” last summer, with his close friend Romelu Lukaku joining United for £75m from Everton. The Belgian signed for the club while in Los Angeles where he was on holiday with Pogba.

Pogba has also continually made jokes about trying to get Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid’s star forward, to join him at Old Trafford.

That appeared to be what would happen last summer, but Atleti’s transfer ban being upheld prevented the move from occurring. At the end of the video, Pogba and Griezmann share a moment.
