Manchester United are reportedly willing to let Luke Shaw leave the club in order to make space for Tottenham’s Danny Rose.
Shaw has had a tough time since arriving at Old Trafford from Southampton and it seems that the club have finally lost patience with the player.
The young Englishman has been unlucky with his injury issues but managers, both former and current, have discussed his attitude problems too.
If rumours are to be believed then Luke isn’t willing to fight for his starting XI spot and believes he should be guaranteed it already.
The reports have gone back and forth between player and manager and the latest news is that the club are happy to cut ties with the youngster in order to bring in a tried and tested player in Rose.
According to the Mirror, Jose Mourinho is going to test Tottenham’s resolve by offering £40m for Danny in the upcoming January transfer window.
The winter transfer window is notorious for being a tough time to conclude deals for players in, which may explain the slightly inflated transfer fee for the English international.
Mourinho also seems to be unwilling to wait until the summer to invest in what he perhaps feels is a weak area in the squad.
The United board have also reportedly told the Portuguese manager to sell first before buying and he seems to be reluctantly accepting the new rules.
The Mirror source has also claimed that Jose is happy to offer Rose double his current wages in order to reel him in.
