Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly named his price for Real Madrid and Welsh star Gareth Bale.
The former Tottenham winger initially moved to the Spanish capital in the hopes of being Cristiano Ronaldo’s heir.
Despite a bright start to his career at the Bernabeu, things have started to sour for Bale, with fans and pundits alike calling for him to be sold.
Zinedine Zidane has publicly defended his player but appears as though he’s willing to give in to the Red Devils interest if they match his price tag.
However, Mourinho is happy to look elsewhere for proven talent and will only consider investing in Gareth if Madrid half their asking price.
According to the Daily Mirror’s Simon Bullock, Jose believes that the Welshman should only be valued at around £50m while Zidane is looking to recoup most of what the club paid for him.
If the report is to be believed then the Portuguese manager is happy to walk away from the deal if the capital club ask for any more.
Supporters have apparently lost their patience with the player after his consistent injury problems and are pushing for him to leave the club.
Jose Mourinho is not concerned with Bale’s recurrent injury problems and believes he can bring the best out of the player once more.
Mourinho reportedly brought in a specialist for Paul Pogba’s recent knock and it’s believed that the manager is willing to do the same for Gareth to keep him fit if he moves to Old Trafford.
