Henrikh Mkhitaryan has possibly played his last match in a Manchester United shirt after his shambolic performance vs Derby in the FA Cup.
The Red Devils played hosts to the Championship side with the Armenian still managing to put in such a poor display that he was substituted at half time by a frustrated Jose Mourinho.
Rumours continue to grow of the Portuguese manager’s willingness to sell Mkhitaryan and after being unable to perform vs a lower league team, it may be time to call it a day.
The versatile attacker started the season in incredible form, giving hope to United fans that he’s the same quality player they bought from Borussia Dortmund during the last campaign.
However, his good spell ended almost as quickly as it started and fans are running out of patience with Henrikh who will surely be looking over his shoulder.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan hooked after 45 minutes for Romelu Lukaku. Things go from bad to worse for Mkhitaryan. His future at Manchester United now looks incredibly bleak.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is not having a good game. Looks like his confidence is gone.

Mkhitaryan seems to have forgotten how to pass and cross in the space of 2 months.

Mkhitaryan is a number 10. In the sense that i'd rather play with 10 than with him.

I'm telling you this Mkhitaryan guy is trying to get us to sell him. There's no way he can be this bad.

Time for Mkhitaryan to go, doesn’t look bothered at all. No passion, no urgency & no signs of improvement.

With Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and occasionally Ashley Young all providing competition for Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s spot in the starting XI, it may be that United don’t need him anymore.
Putting aside the club’s current options, Mourinho has already stated his wishes to invest in a winger and perhaps he may now try to bring in two to replace the former Dortmund man.
There have also been rumours of the club possibly signing Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil for free in the summer transfer window, a talented player who would surely represent direct competition to Mkhitaryan.
If the rumours become true then surely Henrikh will be out of Old Trafford just a year and half or two years since arriving from Germany.
