Manchester United fans frustrated by Paul Pogba’s performance vs Burnley

Manchester United fans were left frustrated by Paul Pogba’s performance vs Burnley despite playing well in the tight 1-0 win.

The Red Devils just about edged over the line thanks to a Anthony Martial goal in the second half in a game that supporters will surely want to forget quickly.

United weren’t at their best as an impressive home side didn’t allow them to play free flowing football but managed nonetheless to grab all three points.

Pogba’s display was a mixed one, often at the forefront of his team’s best attacks but his final pass (or lack thereof) was often frustrating.

Better days will surely come for the Frenchman but it was particularly disappointing given how well he performed in the last match.

As the Tweets point out, Manchester United were often free to extend their lead on the counter attack but failed to be clinical at crucial moments.

With the match at 1-0 and into the last few stages, Paul Pogba was guilty of being selfish on at least three occasions and failing to convert.

Either way, he certainly didn’t have a poor game to be fair to him and perhaps on another day he would’ve scored all three chances and fans would be praising his quality.

It’s all fine margins but Pogba will surely want to move past the match quickly and hope better days come for himself as well as United.

All in all it was a well won three points at a difficult stadium that’s proven to be tricky before and the march to close the gap continues.
