Manchester United fans were absolutely delighted with Jesse Lingard‘s performance vs Yeovil Town in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils were away from home but that doesn’t mean they didn’t make themselves comfortable, running out 4-0 winners with four different goal-scorers.
The 25 year old came onto the field in the 72nd minute of the match but that didn’t stop him for having a telling influence on the scoreline.
With United coming into the testing final moments of the game, Jesse popped up to score the team’s third goal to all but wrap up the result and supporters couldn’t be happier.
Lingard doesn’t do tap-ins. What a season for him. Most improved player in the Prem?

Lingard doesn't score simple goals. Become such a baller man.

Lingard surely a certainty for England World Cup squad. He’s moved on a couple of levels this season at Man Utd.

Although Jesse Lingard didn’t start the fixture it’s no doubt that it was due to Mourinho resting him rather than dropping him from the side.
The Englishman has been in incredible form of late, managing to get into double figures for goals scored across all competitions this season; a feat that shouldn’t be laughed at considering it’s mainly come from the attacking midfield or wide positions.
Jose has clearly recognised that Lingard is undroppable but also noticed that yesterday’s fixture was the perfect opportunity to give his player a break.
Romelu Lukaku was another one to be rested but both players were still brought onto the field as substitutes, presumably to ensure they don’t became rusty and the pair of them certainly did not show any signs of exhaustion.
