Manchester United fans had mixed reviews of new star signing Alexis Sanchez’s performance vs Tottenham in the Premier League.
The Chilean international started the match in his preferred position on the left wing, forcing the in-form Anthony Martial out to the right.
Although the move worked in favour of Sanchez, he was soon moved into the attacking midfield position in the second half in an effort by Jose Mourinho to turn the tide of the game in the team’s favour.
United managed to concede a goal within 15 seconds of the match through a Christian Eriksen effort straight from kick off and failed to recover since.
Phil Jones added to the team’s woes by scoring an own goal and Alexis will surely be wondering just what on Earth he walked into after his teammates performances.
Mourinho should bring on Alexis Sanchez.

I'm done watching the match. It's so frustrating beyond words to describe. It's like a training session for Spurs when their players are able to pass around with ease while United's players standing like a statue. Absolute shite performance from the lads except Sanchez

The only outfield players I’ll actually defend today are Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Valencia & Alexis Sanchez, at least the tried. We move on, up next: Huddersfield. What are your thoughts?

Alexis Sanchez himself didn’t have a similar impact as he did vs Yeovil Town on his official debut for the Red Devils but did show his impressive work-rate.
The overall display from the team was poor and so naturally he looked poor himself but it at least wasn’t for a lack of trying in comparison to his colleagues.
Manchester United fans were disappointed more so by the gutless performance of the players than the loss itself but many pointed to Antonio Valencia, Sanchez’s and David de Gea‘s displays as the only acceptable ones.
The result is surely a one-off match but one can expect that Jose Mourinho will tear into his team to ensure it doesn’t happen again in the future.
