Manchester United fans were absolutely delighted with Marcus Rashford‘s performance vs Liverpool with the two rivals clashing in the Premier League.
The Englishman was completely instrumental in his side going 2-0 up by half time with supporters hardly being able to believe what they were witnessing.
Many expected the match to prove to be a difficult one with Paul Pogba missing out in the last minute due to suffering an injury in training the day before.
However, other players stood up with Rashford in particular standing out having scored his team’s two goals in the first half.
United appeared to be in total control of the first 45 minutes and a lot of it had to do with how clinical the academy product was.
Rashford will rightly get the acclaim for this first half-hour but Lukaku has monstered Liverpool this half. One of his best #mufc displays up until now.

A lot has been said about Marcus and his future with the Red Devils since Alexis Sanchez’s arrival but he muted all the noise to focus on his performance.
With the club now currently employing three left wingers, there’s more competition in that spot than ever before for the youngster.
Along with the Chilean star, Anthony Martial also has a preference to play on the left wing meaning Jose Mourinho has a selection headache.
His decision for the match against the Reds was made a little easier given how the Frenchman was out injured and Sanchez was allowed to play just in behind Romelu Lukaku.
When all three are fit and available it’ll allow Mourinho to pick whoever is most in form and according to the opposition’s weaknesses.
