Manchester United fans were delighted with Romelu Lukaku’s performance once more after his goalscoring appearance vs Brighton in the FA Cup.
The Belgian managed to open the scoring for his side with the away side trying to withstand the pressure at Old Trafford for a large part of the first half.
Thankfully Lukaku converted United’s only good chance of the first half to help make Jose Mourinho’s half time team talk a little easier to deliver.
The former Everton man’s record so far this season has become unquestionably good yet he still continues to find critics from the neutrals.
The Red Devils’ fan base though truly appreciate the talent they have on hand and made sure they let everyone know how they feel.
Say what you like about Lukaku, but 25 goals by March in his first season for a defensively minded United side is an impressive return to say the least.

Lukaku would’ve bagged a daft amount for #MUFC in some of Sir Alex’s more fruitful sides

Lukaku has 10 in his last 15 and 25 for the season. Should arguably have more after getting 11 before October but turning out to be a really good season. Hold-up play a lot better in the last two months, too. #mufc

Romelu has been ever present in the team’s starting XI and has continuously produced the goods other than a small drought back in October.
Even without scoring he’s constantly performed well and has rarely put in a poor shift when the rest of his teammates have played well.
It’s a credit to the player that everything he was criticised for at the start of the season he has tried to address and improve on as the campaign wore on.
His first touch, hold up play and build up play were all called into question as well as his ability to score against the top sides in the Premier League.
Should he continue to impress, there’s no reason why Romelu Lukaku can’t lead the line for Manchester United for the next decade.
