Manchester United are reportedly preferred to offer either one of two players in a swap deal for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

The Brazilian has long been a target and negotiations are said to have stepped up with Jose Mourinho clearly interested in him.

Sandro represents one of European football’s better left-backs but it’s clear he will come at a hefty cost that’ll probably disinterest most clubs.

Mourinho though is rumoured to be hatching a plan in order to get who he wants and fans wouldn’t put it past him to complete the deal.

The Portuguese manager has already proven he’s not afraid to use untraditional methods such a swap deals to see through negotiations as he did with Arsenal in the January transfer window for Alexis Sanchez.

According to the Hard Tackle, TransferMarketWeb report that the Red Devils will offer either Anthony Martial or Matteo Darmian in order to finally get their man Alex and avoid paying his €55m price tag.

The Italian giants have been interested in the full-back for some time now as they look set to add depth to their squad for the next season.

Darmian though is unlikely to be valued by the club as highly as Alex Sandro is but perhaps it would lessen the cost for Manchester United.

Fans would certainly consider it a stunning transfer but should Martial be involved in the deal somehow then they’ll surely be uproar.

The Frenchman is already a bit of a fan favourite and supporters are desperate to hold onto a player they know will develop into one of the best around.
