Alexis Sanchez: Jose Mourinho demands a lot of his Manchester United players

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez has explained that Jose Mourinho is a very demanding coach but also revealed what role he’s been asked to play.

Much has been made of where the Chilean plays and how to bring the best out of him as he can be a talismanic player for his new side.

Sanchez is pretty much capable of playing all along the front four attacking positions with Mourinho even exploring all of the options.

However, it’s quickly become clear that his best position is on the left wing cutting inside though it has cause problems with Paul Pogba.

Alexis has revealed what appears to be a solution to that problem with Jose seemingly solving it as evidenced by the pair’s performance vs Tottenham.

Alexis Sanchez’s free role would not only suit him but would also allow Pogba more freedom as well on the left wing.

The Frenchman has occasionally been shifted onto the right side of the midfield so that him and the former Arsenal man don’t get in each others way but it didn’t seem to work.

Against Tottenham Sanchez pretty much played wherever he wanted with Paul even sometimes playing as a left winger in that role he loves so much.
