Paul Pogba: For now I’m at Manchester United

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has responded to rumours linking him away from the club by claiming he is remaining at Old Trafford for now.

The Frenchman has been heavily criticised all season long for his inconsistent performances but the main reason reports surfaced of a potential departure is due to his clash with Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager was said to be frustrated with Pogba’s form and his lack of tactical responsibility though both parties have denied any issues.

United fans clearly don’t wish for the talented midfielder to leave and hope he can work past his problems in order to prove he’s one of the best in the world.

Mourinho invested so much in the former Juventus man so he could build the team around the player and there’s still time to make that work.

According to Birmingham Live, Paul said to Canal Football Club: “For now I’m at Manchester United, I really only think about the present. Transfers are not in my head. You know, if I listened to everyone, I would be everywhere.”

Paul Pogba’s comment won’t really inspire the greatest of confidence in supporters though his actions on the pitch would suggest he’s more loyal than he leads on here.

The academy product has pointed to the badge multiple times during celebrations and even asked fans to not listen to what the media says about him or his future.
