Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was clearly not happy with how Antonio Conte set up his Chelsea side in the FA Cup final clash that happened at Wembley.
The Portuguese manager came face to face with his nemesis and it was the Italian who managed to come away with the last laugh after winning the trophy through a single goal.
Eden Hazard scored from the penalty spot to hand the Blues the FA Cup with Phil Jones having been the culprit or the cause of the penalty.
The Englishman was criticised thoroughly and United failed to turn the match around despite having about an hour’s worth of time left before the final whistle.
Mourinho chose to focus on the London club’s defensive set up rather than his players inability to take apart their opposition though it’s fair to say Chelsea struggled to create anything of note either.
In his post match interview, Jose said: “I am quite curious to know what you say or what people write because if my team plays like Chelsea did I can imagine what people would say. I am quite curious.”
The former Real Madrid manager certainly didn’t like getting a taste of his own medicine with Conte ‘parking the bus’ at Wembley.
However, his players should have enough quality to break down teams and although they improved in the second half they just couldn’t show a clinical nature to turn the game on it’s head.
