Marouane Fellaini to snub Manchester United contract: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is reportedly set to snub a contract renewal from the club despite Jose Mourinho insisting he wants the player to remain at the club.

The Belgian international has thrown his future up in the air with this latest announcement and it’s unlikely to bode well with the Portuguese boss.

Mourinho has been ridiculed by some United fans for his public support of Fellaini and it now appears to have backfired.

The former Everton man has discussed his hopes to remain at the club but it appears that neither the player nor the hierarchy can come to an agreement.

Some reports have claimed the tenacious midfielder is simply asking for too much money which would appear to make sense according to some other rumours floating about.

According to 101 Great Goals, the Times report that Marouane is set to snub a contract renewal which would potentially see him depart the club in less than a month’s time.

AC Milan were said to also be interested in the powerful star but it appears even they are unwilling to agree to his demands.

Whether Marouane Fellaini‘s future will be at Manchester United or not next season remains to be seen but with every passing day it seems to be less likely.
