Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly going to avoid replacing Luke Shaw for now after it being previously claimed the player was going to leave the club.
The Englishman was apparently disfigured with the treatment he received from his manager with initial rumours stating he was on his way out.
However, it was then said Shaw will stay put and fight for his place in the starting XI having lost it to Ashley Young.
The former Southampton man was then reported to being on Mourinho’s to sell list either way but it now seems as though even that is being put to bed.
The left-back could potentially be given yet another season to prove his worth having failed to do so in his four seasons with United so far.
According to Sport Witness, Gazzetta dello Sport report that Jose is simply observing the Alex Sandro situation from afar for now and so won’t be replacing Luke just yet.
The Brazilian was expected to replace the youngster since Young is a trusted lieutenant of the former Real Madrid manager.
Though he’s not said to be a regular start next season and so Sandro was linked with being the Red Devils first choice.
