Manchester United fans will be happy to know that the wait is finally over with the club officially announcing Fred’s transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk is complete.
For those confused thinking the deal was already done previously, it was only the transfer fee that was agreed between the two clubs and not the finer details.
United were expected to get the deal done in time before the World Cup began but unfortunately things such as the work permit and medical still needed to be sorted out.
With the announcement that Fred got his work permit yesterday, the club moved quickly to make everything else work out in order to announce the deal today.
Now Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward can finally move on to the rest of their summer targets with supporters who are eager to see their new players in action as soon as possible.

Although they’ll have to wait to see Diogo Dalot playing, fans can watch Fred play for Brazil in the World Cup provided he’s deemed fit for their next match.
The talented midfielder suffered an injury just before travelling to Russia and missed out on his nation’s first group stage match but there’s hope he can start their second.
