Former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic believes Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has no reason to leave the club, believing a transfer is very unlikely.
The youngster was linked with a move away from Old Trafford after reports surfaced of his unhappiness with his match time and apparent fall-out with Jose Mourinho.
However, United fans were never truly concerned with Rashford leaving the club, particularly to Chelsea or Tottenham as claimed by some media outlets.
The Englishman has come through the club’s academy and Bilic is of the opinion that even if his ties with the club weren’t strong, he shouldn’t leave.
Marcus has made 51 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions this season but only 26 of them came in the form of starts.
Mourinho has made his love for the academy product publicly well known, even favouring the striker to Anthony Martial on many occasions.
Yet doubts remain over Rashford’s happiness at the club while he himself hasn’t mentioned anything of the sort and fans expect him to remain at Old Trafford for many years to come.
The hopes are that the 20 year old can finally establish himself in Manchester United’s starting XI next season though time is certainly on his side.
