Manchester United star Paul Pogba has insisted he and France are not getting too carried away after making it to the World Cup final by defeating Belgium.
Les Bleus have had a tough road to the end and will face a stubborn Croatian side who refuse to give up on their dream of winning the tournament for the first time in their history.
For France it’ll be their second time, twenty years on from winning their first but Pogba believes they won’t be getting carried away just yet after what happened in their last international tournament.
The French had made it all the way to the European Championship final on home soil two summers ago before falling short against underdogs Portugal.
Against Croatia they’ll certainly be the favourites once more and will have the opportunity to make up for past mistakes in the grandest way possible.
Paul would be the only United player to return from the World Cup as a winner should it happen with the rest of his teammates all knocked out in different stages of the competition.
First however, they’ll have to overcome a Croatian team who’ve outdone themselves in terms of expectations and they certainly won’t roll over for France.
