Manchester United star Daley Blind has reportedly not travelled with the squad to Los Angeles ahead of their pre-season tour in the United States of America.
The Dutchman has been heavily linked with a move back to his former club Ajax with the manager even publicly admitting interest in him.
Blind also refused to rule out a move back to his home country and it was said United wanted to wrap up the transfer before they left for their pre-season tour.
However, things haven’t managed to workout that quickly and so the versatile man has presumably stayed behind to work out the finer details of the move.
Reports claimed the Red Devils and Ajax have agreed on a transfer fee meaning personal details and a medical were perhaps the only things remaining to iron out.
Daley has certainly proved himself to be an intelligent, useful player for any Manchester United side but unfortunately it’s not enough for him to be a regular player.
Under Jose Mourinho he hasn’t enjoyed any kind of minutes that he deserves and a move back to Ajax is perhaps best for him in terms of reviving his career.
Back with the Dutch side, Blind can prove his worth to the world while being valued by his club at the same time though his versatility will be missed at Old Trafford.
