Manchester United consider bid for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United are reportedly considering bidding for Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey despite recently investing in their midfield.

Jose Mourinho has already brought in the likes of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic before bringing in Fred this summer.

That trio is believed to be his preferred midfield three but apparently a move for Ramsey could be on the cards.

United were also said to be prioritising a centre-back over all other positions but perhaps the offer is too tempting to pass up on.

Mourinho already signed an Arsenal star in Alexis Sanchez in January so it’s not completely bizarre for him to do it again.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Sun report the Red Devils could make an approach in January to reinforce their midfield since Aaron hasn’t accepted a contract extension from Arsenal yet.

Unless someone moves on Jose actually has an abundance of players in the engine room already.

Along with the three aforementioned names there are also Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay fighting for three places.

Having said that, Ramsey would definitely be an improvement on the Belgian for the example though he would have to accept a rotational squad status if that’s the case.
