Jose Mourinho was decidedly coy when asked about Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola in Friday’s press conference.
The Frenchman’s agent lashed out at Paul Scholes on social media in response to the former midfielder’s criticism of Pogba’s performance in the defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.
Pogba has not responded to the fracas aside from a post on social media advertising some shoes, which prompted many supporters to criticise him in the comments.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the clash with Tottenham Hotspur, Mourinho did not want to fan the flames any further.
Mourinho on Pogba, "He has to answer by his words, if you want an explanation then you must ask him."

The 55-year-old was asked 13 questions in today’s press conference and answered them all in just four minutes and 19 seconds, averaging around 19 seconds for every answer.
In other words, he did not want to be there. He did not want to discuss Ed Woodward; nor did he want to talk about the performance of Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof last weekend. The only time he went beyond monosyllabic retorts was when addressing the club’s injury issues.
When the media and online climate surrounding Manchester United is essentially frothing at the mouth, the manager has no intentions whatsoever of adding fuel to an already extremely toxic fire.
