Leicester City star Kasper Schmeichel has seemingly hinted who can restore Manchester United to their former glory by praising Ryan Giggs’ Wales, drawing comparisons between the two.
Many fans had and still hope the club legend will end up managing the club but at the moment he’s busy with international football.
Of course they can’t forget they already have a manager in Jose Mourinho though if some reports are to be believed then it won’t be for long.
Schmeichel believes Giggs has already installed in Wales similar tactics to the ones United used on a regular basis before.
Should the manager prove a capable leader on the touchline then perhaps he may be given a shot at the hot seat at Old Trafford in the future.
According to the Express, Kasper said: “Look at the last game and you can see the flair and spark that they play with.
“It’s very similar to the DNA he inherited at Manchester United and it will be very interesting to see what he can bring.
“He’s got a very talented squad with Wales. It is something that Gary Speed started, Chris Coleman worked really well, and now Ryan is putting his own stamp on it.”
The Red Devils’ fan base were split in two when David Moyes was fired with some believing Ryan should be given the job immediately while others believed he had to prove himself elsewhere.
The latter eventually got what they wanted and now he’s been tasked with leading his country to European and World Cup spots.
It is a little unusual to see a manager try out their hand for the first time in the job on the international stage but it seems to be working out for Giggs so far.
