Manchester United to rival Barcelona for Hirving Lozano’s signature: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United are reportedly set to battle it out with Barcelona for PSV star Hirving Lozano’s signature.

The Mexican international starred for his country at the World Cup and that is said to have draw interest from clubs around Europe.

However, no interested party made a bid to sign him after the conclusion of the tournament and so he remained with his current side.

United are said to be targeting the right wing position and so it makes sense Lozano’s name will be amongst those they’re interested in signing.

Unfortunately for Jose Mourinho he’ll have plenty of other clubs to fight with in order to get his man.

According to Manchester Evening News, Sport report that the Red Devils will rival Barcelona and Everton for Hirving’s signature but PSV are unwilling to sell their star player.

The 23 year old would represent value for money due to his young age and current potential but it’s likely the Dutch side will ask for ridiculous figures.

Lozano was one of Mexico’s better performers over the summer and continues to shine for his club side as well.

Whether Manchester United will move fast enough to conclude the transfer ahead of their rivals remains to be soon.
