Manchester United fans delighted with Paul Pogba’s performance vs Young Boys

Manchester United fans were definitely delighted with Paul Pogba’s performance vs Young Boys in the Champions League.

The Frenchman ran the show with a top performance, scoring a brace and grabbing an assist for Anthony Martial‘s effort.

Plenty of the pre-match talk surrounded Pogba, particularly as he was named captain but it’s fair to say he stepped up.

Critics will rightfully claim he’ll need to put in the same kind of display against bigger opposition but for now supporters can be pleased.

If Paul can keep up his current form then United stand a chance of climbing up the Premier League table and potentially fighting for the title.

The Red Devils’ two losses in their three opening fixtures seems to have already hurt them significantly in the table but they’ve since bounced back with three away wins on the bounce in all competitions.

Hopefully with momentum gathering, Jose Mourinho can lead his team back to the higher end of the table.

Anything below a top four finish this season will be considered a significant failure and he could perhaps lose his job.

With Pogba fit and firing though, anything can happen and the fans clearly feel that way as well.
