Manchester United’s Women’s team continued their superb form with a 3-0 win over Charlton on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Katie Zelem, Jess Sigsworth and Lizzie Arnot gave the home side a comfortable advantage as they dominated from start to finish.
Casey Stoney’s team, which entered the second division this season, have now won five games in a row – scoring 23 times in the process – and not conceded since late August.
At a time when Man United’s men are in turmoil, the women are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with, sitting one point ahead of Tottenham at the top of the table with a game in hand.
