Alexis Sanchez could make his Manchester United career a very much short-lived one as he searches for a potential exit from the club.
The Chilean forward has endured terrible form at Man United which has led to him being dropped occasionally by manager Jose Mourinho.
However, he netted the winner for the Reds in an epic 3-2 comeback against Newcastle United just before the international break and some are hoping that could kickstart his previously stuttering time at Old Trafford.
Sanchez was being touted to join United or rivals Manchester City and decided on United. He would have won the title had he gone the other way, and perhaps that could be playing on his mind.
The Mail report that Sanchez is debating whether a move away from United would be the right option, even though he hasn’t even celebrated one year at the club yet.
His agent is reportedly sounding out potential suitors for Sanchez. It’s hard to imagine there would be many. His wages are enormous and United would demand a considerable transfer fee.
If he has decided to leave already then it stinks of a player with the wrong attitude, somewhat like Angel di Maria a few years ago under Louis van Gaal. Just because it’s been tough going at the start does not mean you can pack your bags and leave. Players often come out the other side and excel after a difficult first season.
