Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United’s young striker Marcus Rashford.
The Italian side have previously been linked with Anthony Martial, Man United’s young French attacking talent but never before with Rashford.
Rashford, now a 20-year-old first team regular at United, is hugely experienced for his age with three trophies under his belt and a World Cup semi-final. However, there have been suggestions that his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho is on the decline after a number of incidents.
Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport have taken this news and claim that Juventus are planning a move for Rashford. His contract expires in 2020 and Juventus have a superb record of bringing in supremely talented players on free transfers at the end of their contracts.
Juventus scouts were at England’s brilliant 3-2 away victory in Seville against Spain. Rashford scored and played a key role.
It’s a curious rumour as Rashford’s future at United just seems nailed down. It’s hard to imagine the Englishman leaving the club of his childhood any time soon.
Perhaps Rashford may leave in a few years if he’s not getting enough first team football. However, for him to leave now would take something significant and nothing suggests he has a burning desire to leave the club.
He loves United and has constantly spoken of how he’s learning under Mourinho and from senior players.
