Manchester United were said to be present at Galatasaray’s fixture against FC Schalke 04 in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
The Reds are thought to have been watching young defender Ozan Kabak, who is being tracked by a number of high-profile clubs including Man United.
Kabak has broken into the Turkish club’s first team this season and was in contention to start against Schalke due to injury to regular Serdar Aziz.
The 18-year-old has previously revealed that he dreams of playing for United in the Premier Legaue.
That could be a possibility. Turkish-Football.com report that United have been watching Kabak and planned on evaluating him further against Schalke.
“I want to become one of the greats like my idol the legendary Galatasaray captain Bulent Korkmaz,” Kabak explained to the Tam Saha magazine.
“I want to play for Galatasaray but I have a soft spot for the Premier League and in particular Manchester United.”
Kabak has been regularly scouted by Europe’s top clubs and Galatasaray are eager to tie him down to a new five-year contract and have no intention of letting him leave the club soon.
