Victor Lindelof impressed for Manchester United in his side’s 2-1 victory against Everton on Sunday afternoon.
The Swedish defender was highly praised after a solid showing in midweek in the UEFA Champions League against Italian champions Juventus.
Former-Man United man Gary Neville was full of compliments for Lindelof, who has only just begun to settle at Old Trafford in his second season in Manchester.
Jose Mourinho has started Lindelof regularly in recent weeks and was one of United’s best players in the victory against Everton.

While his centre-back partner Chris Smalling gave away a penalty that allowed Everton temporarily back into the game, Lindelof was consistently composed and clever in his tackling and distribution out of defence.
It’s a massive positive for United to have a more settled defensive partnership as Lindelof and Smalling are rarely dropped or changed.
The start of the season saw Jose Mourinho’s side concede three on a regular basis and often concede one immediately after another. Things have been better in recent fixtures, although there remains much to improve in a shakey back four which gave away a penalty against Everton.
