Manchester United players have been paying their respects after Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was among five people to have lost their lives in a helicopter crash on Saturday evening.

The helicopter took off from the King Power stadium pitch but, due a wing malfunction, spiralled out of control just outside the stadium.

Srivaddhanaprabha, who bought the club in 2010, made Leicester an established Premier League club, famously winning the title in 2016, and was universally respected by everyone involved with the club.

A number of Man United players have taken to social media to pay their respects to the chairman, the two members of his staff – Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare – and pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz, who all died in the crash.
