Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has explained his celebrations against Juventus, claiming their fans berated him the whole time.
The Portuguese manager walked onto the field after the full-time whistle gesturing as though he couldn’t hear the supporters, taunting them after the result.
Mourinho did admit if he had a cooler head he wouldn’t have done such a thing but he did defend himself as well, pointing a finger at those who teased him.
Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci didn’t seem too pleased with the former Inter Milan manager but the issue was quickly dissolved.
The majority of the United fan base though were happy to see their manager show emotion after what was an incredible result for his side.
The Red Devils were going toe to toe with the Italian champions all game before Cristiano Ronaldo scored a beauty to hand them the lead.
Manchester United could’ve considered a draw a pretty decent result given the circumstances but found themselves in a strong position towards the end of the match and held on for all three points.
