Manchester United fans weren’t the least bit pleased with Paul Pogba’s performance in the 2-2 draw with Southampton.
The Frenchman started the fixture with three centre-backs behind him, two strikers ahead of him and was a part of a midfield three.
This technically should’ve given him enough cover behind him, support in the middle and bodies ahead of him to destroy the opposition.
Unfortunately Pogba was arguably United’s poorest player on the pitch as he consistently gave the ball away and was sloppy overall.
There were reports the midfielder was subbed in the draw against Crystal Palace last week and dropped for the clash against Young Boys mid-week due to him not showing enough ‘heart’ in matches. If that’s true then he kept that up against the Saints.
World Cup winner Paul Pogba lost possession 25 times today against a side in the relegation zone that haven't won at home since April.

Mourinho said United players need to play with their brain. Paul Pogba has seemed brainless today.

The last two league games have been up there with Paul Pogba's worst in a United shirt
What's going on? Jose is a factor, but Pogba must look at himself

Pogba has once again let Utd down today. He has no discipline in his game, he plays like he’s bigger than the club.

Whatever the problem with Paul, whether it’s the manager, the tactics or the player himself it needs to get sorted out.
The former Juventus man was heavily invested in and was brought in to have the side built around him to take the club to the next level for the next decade or so.
Unfortunately that hasn’t proven to be the case so far and the Red Devils have suffered because of it.
